The Florida Eels came out on fire this past weekend as they swept the weekend series against the Tampa Bay Bolts. The Eels, who came into the weekend 2 points behind Tampa, came out of the weekend 2 points ahead of the Bolts.

David had a big 8 point weekend in an important series against the Tampa Bay Bolts. He scored a hat trick in Saturday’s 8-4 win and then scored two more times and adding 3 assists in Sunday’s victory. David is now in the top 15 overall in points in the MET South.

The Florida Eels Squirt team defeated the Miami Toros 9-0 on Saturday Dec 13, 2008 at the Kendall Ice arena. The team was relentless on their attack on the Miami Toros Team firing shot upon shot on their goaltender. The defense (Victoria Smith, Caleb Stitt, and Nick Scoufis) played awesome only allowing 6 shots on goalie Ryan Gadbois who stoped them all posting his first ever shutout.. He was a real stonewall!
Dylan Thompson and Joe Munroe both netted hat tricks while Kyle Salminem had 2 goals and one assist. Caeb Stitt scored his first goal of the season along with one assist from his defensive position. August Taylor had an incredible 4 assist while Tommy Gadbois had 2. The Eels played disciplined hockey through good positioning (as shown by Dillion Simmons) great passing and no penalties.
